Includes 30 dinner plates, 30 deep plates, 9 luncheon plates, a tureen, two gravy boats, two butter dishes and a multitude of serving bowls and platters. Ca. 100 pieces in total.

A Meissen 'Watteau' tureen and platter
18th century, Germany The tureen and platter with Watteau style scenes and with gilded and foral relief decoration, also with scattered bugs and insects. The inside and underside of the tureen decorated in 'faux marbre' (marble pattern). The lid with a figural cupid holding a horn of plenty spilling fruits and flowers. The platter is marked with the Meissen crossed swords with a star underneath. Restoration.

Imperial Russian Porcelain; a plate, two ewers and a bowl
19th to early 20th century, Russia Made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg; A bowl with gilded bands and a portrait in relief biscuit porcelain, showing Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna, wife of Tsar Nicholas II, and dated in the backstamp 1916. The backstamp with two etched lines which indicate that this piece was a factory second. Together with two lidded ewers, the backstamps removed (also factory seconds) and an earlier plate in Sevres style with a cobalt gilt background and four vignettes with florals, this is a factory first plate and marked with the blue underglaze stamp of the Imperial Porcelain Factory with the monogram of Nicholas I under the imperial crown.
