An exceptional set of very fine semi-eggshell porcelain cups and saucers, decorated with golden pheasant and a myriad of foliage and other birds. A narrow gilt border with lotus and scrolling foliage. Not marked.
Saucers; D 11.8 cm, Cups: D 7 cm, H 3.9cm
One saucer with a professional restoration along the edge (to disguise chips, see close-up photo). Two saucers with a small chip on the back edge (see close-up photos). Some wear of the gilding. No other damage or restoration. One cup with a hairline (very hard to see). Two cups with small chips t0 the standing rims. No other damage or restoration. Some wear of the gilding. One cup with a small manufacturing flaw on the inside (see last close-up photo).
