A pair of famille verte wine pots

Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China

Two pots with arched handles in yellow and black to mimic a reeded handle. The paneled body of the pots with floral branches emitted from rock formations. Not marked.

H ca. 18.3 cm

Provenance: Property of a deceased collector. Sotheby's Amsterdam, May 7th 1992, lot 141.

One handle repaired, and on the other pot the spout has been repaired. Normal wear from age and use. Some manufacturing flaws and irregularities. No other damage or restoration (apart from the spout and handle as mentioned).
