The enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed 'J.H. Schmidt Aoleff', with aperture showing the lunar phase, with separate hand indicating the date, the mechanism with verge escapement and a cord suspended pendulum, the chiming mechanism striking the whole and half hour in full on different bells.
