The octagonal shaped case composed of cut quartz panels with two hinged quartz lids opening on each side to reveal the dial and back panel, the brass dial finely foliate engraved centring a single blued steel hand, the movement with verge escapement with chain fusee, numbered 1450, movement not functioning, some parts possibly later.
