Tree Hague/Tournai porcelain plates
Last quarter 18th century, Netherlands/Belgium
The larger plate with a puce centre Watteau style scene of two musicians and a polychrome and gilt garland border. The middle size plate with a cobalt and gilt border and a cockerel and chicken centre. The smaller plate in blue underglaze. All three plates were made at the Doornik factory (Tournai, Belgium), the two larger plates were decorated in The Hague, Netherlands.

The largest plate was bought from Sotheby's Amsterdam on October 1st 1984. The middle size plate was bought from Sotheby's Amsterdam (Mak van Waay), on June 15th. 1977.
The largest plate has the mark on the back erased (scratched off or removed with sanding paper) and a small chip on the edge (see last close-up photo). Some wear from age and use but no other chips, no cracks or hairlines and no restoration.
