A Dutch porcelain Loosdrecht wash bowl
Ca. 1780-85, Netherlands
Originally decorated with the cornflower pattern and a green trim, with a clobbered (probably outside factory painted) overglaze polychrome Chinoiserie pattern. Marked with a blue underglaze MOL mark with star.

Bought from Mak van Waay (Sotheby's Amsterdam), on November 16th. 1976.
A chip on one of the handles. The dish is slightly askew. No hairlines or restoration. Some wear of the overglaze pattern.
