A large Kangxi blue and white covered vase on wooden stand

Kangxi period (1661-1722), China

The baluster vase with long panels filled with flowering branches and birds, separated by ribbon-style borders. Unglazed and unmarked on the underside. On a wooden stand with marble slab.

H 68 cm (vase including lid), or H 88 cm (including wooden stand)

The shade of the blue on the lid is slightly different to that of the vase, it is however the correct lid. There are rim chips and glaze frits/loss along the edges but no cracks or hairlines and no restoration. The wooden stand possibly of a later date.
