Three Longquan celadon dishes

Song-early Ming dynasty, 12-16th century, China

A Yaozhou dish with incise carved and moulded decoration, the deep bowl with a stylized lotus flower.

Largest dish D 34,8 cm, Tallest dish H 8,9 cm

Provenance: an old Dutch private collection.

The deep bowl is warped (not round, manufacturing flaw), a small crack and a small firing crack on the edge, pooling of the glaze on the inside of the bowl and crazing. The Yaozhou dish (the smaller plate) with age crazing of the glaze and a few small rim chips. Also crazing of the glaze. The larger dish in good condition. All pieces with heavy wear from age and use. No restoration.
