A Qingbai bowl with incised decoration

Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), China

An incised single flower in the centre and three petal leafs on flaring sides. Standing on a narow unglazed foot.

D 18 cm, H 6,5 cm

Provenance: an old Dutch private collection.

Rim fritting and age crazing. General glaze wear from age and use. Several manufacturing (kiln) flaws in the glaze. No restoration.
