A very extensive porcelain service in the cornflower pattern

18/19/20th century, France

A large composed dinner and coffee service in the classic Cornflower pattern, as favoured and popularized by Marie-Antoinette who used a Sèvres version of this pattern in her Petit Trianon at Versailles. This set is made up of various sets by different makers and of different times, a few pieces marked but mostly unmarked ‘Vieux Paris’. Includes tureens, baskets, wine coolers, oyster plates, small lidded pots-a-crème, a very large amount of plates in various sizes and more.
