Two famille rose phoenix chargers

19th century, China

Each plate featuring four large round vignettes containing a phoenix and a small central roundel containing a Shou character, set against a mille fleurs background of lush florals of various types including lotus, peony and chrysanthemums, all in a pale and delicate palette of famille rose. Marked in overglaze iron red with a six character Qianlong mark but later, probably late Qing Dynasty, 19th century or early 20th century.

One plate in very good condition, no hairlines or restorations. One plate with a hairline to the underside.
