Two blue and white kraak porcelain bowls
Ming dynasty, Wanli period (1573-1619), China
The high walled bowl decorated on the outside with panels filled with birds and florals. The lower bowl depicting a lady standing by a waterfall.
Largest bowl D ca 14,5 cm, H 9 cm
Provenance: the taller bowl; Christie's Amsterdam, October 6, 1983, lot 100
The smaller bowl with a hole drilled through the standing rim for hanging and a few rim Frits. The larger bowl also with rim fritting. Both bowls with the usual typical manufacturing (glaze) flaws but no hairlines and no restoration.
