The case decorated with brass finials and tendrils, the silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed "John Smith London", the dome with lunar phase and date indication, the square mechanism with anchor escapement, the chiming mechanism on count wheel, in full on the whole hour and once on the half hour, with spring suspended pendulum.
