The Parable of the Ten Virgins, 1915

Bronze plaque, with the text from Matthew 25:3-4: "Die dwaas waren hare Lampen nemende, namen geene Olie met zich: Maar de Wijzen namen Olie in hare Vaten met hare Lampen." (The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them: The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.), incorrectly numbered "5:3", signed and dated with the artist's monogram (upper left), mounted in an oak frame.
