Two stained glass roundels

16th century, possibly Southern Netherlands

The larger roundel once formed part of a series of twelve representing the Labours of the Months, depicting the month of November, showing swineherds driving pigs out into the oak woods and trashing the trees to bring down acorns for the pigs to eat. In the foreground, a meeting with a tax collector. Also featuring a cartouche with monogram. Together with a smaller roundel depicting Saint John the Baptist with lamb.
