Handcol. engraved map with cartouche & 8 coats-of-arms after “Willebordus vander Burght”. Published by W. Blaeu (Amsterdam, ca. 1634 or later). Ca. 41 x 52,5 cm. Behind passepartout & framed (behind glass).

¶ Provenance: The property of the descendants of Anton Philips (1874-1951). Attractive map (also known as “Wapenkaart van de Meierij van ’s-Hertogenbosch”) with 2 coats-of-arms of resp. (Noord-)Brabant & ’s-Hertogenbosch at top and 6 coats-of-arms (i.a. of Eindhoven, Grave & Helmond) in outer parts. – Vertical fold in the middle (as publ.), a few vertical creases (caused by paper-flaw), partly foxed/ browned, but nevertheless in an acceptable condition (not examined out of frame).
