Small 4to (ca. 21 x 17,5 cm.), 20th-cent. blue half-morocco (bound by “Dubois d’Enghien-Dooms”), gilt-lettered ribbed spine with 5 gilt floral ornaments (with red or yellow morocco inlay) in the compartments, top edge gilt. – BOUTENS, P.C. Stemmen. [Third edition]. Amsterdam, P.N. van Kampen & Zoon, 1917, [4],112 pp. Small 4to (ca. 20,5 x 16,5 cm.), 20th-cent. brown half-morocco with gilt-lettered ribbed spine, top edge marbled. – And 1 similar by P.C. Boutens (“Tusschenspelen”. Den Haag, L.J.C. Boucher, 1942. One of 25 copies of the DE-LUXE EDITION printed on handmade paper. Nicely bound in 20th-cent. black chagrin by “J. Brandt & Zoon”). (3x)

¶ Ad 1: First edition. One of 25 Arabic numb. copies of the DE-LUXE EDITION printed on handmade LARGE PAPER (“avec toute la barbe”). SIGNED in black ink by P.C. BOUTENS (in the colophon). Ex bibliotheca H. Schwartz (with his book-plate mounted on verso first free end-paper). – Spine partly discol., binding sl. rubbed/ worn along extremities. Occ. sl. foxed/ browned, but nevertheless a nice binding in good condition. ¶ Ad 2: One of 6 Arabic numb. copies of the DE-LUXE EDITION printed on handmade LARGE PAPER (“avec toute la barbe”) with MANUSCRIPT “COLOPHON” in black ink by P.C. BOUTENS (on verso half-title): “6 exx. op Holl. papier/ No 2/ P.C. Boutens/ Aug. 1917.”. – Small brown stain in upper part of first & second free end-paper, but else a nice binding in good condition.
