A Chinese blue and white porcelain Transitional ewer

17th. century, Transitional period, China

An unusual pitcher with a large spotted handle. The body adorned with four roundels each depciting a different landscape scene, with lakes, forests and mountains. The neck featuring stylized tulips. The vase is lopsided (skewed/leaning).

H 36,3 cm

Glaze fritting, small repair to glaze chip on handle. No other chips, no cracks or hairlines and no restoration (apart from the small patch on the handle as mentioned).
