Handcol. engraved bird’s-eye plan with cartouche & 2 legends (listing 25 items with French text) surrounded by 25 handcol. engraved views (all with Dutch caption) by “J.C. Zurcher” after “Z. Reijers” & P. Beretta. Publ. by “A.H. Bakhuyzen” (ca. 1833). Ca. 48,5 x 55,5 cm. Behind passepartout & framed (behind glass).

¶ Scarce 19th-cent. plan of The Hague (decorated with 25 nice small-sized views of i.a. “Badhuis te Scheveningen”, “Gebouw van de Staten-Generaal”, “Groote of St. Jacobs Kerk”, “Het Stadhuis”, “Koninglijk Museum”, “Koninglijke Bibliotheek”, “Loterij Zaal”, “Paleis van de Prins van Oranje”, “Paleis van Z.M. in het Bosch”, “Scheveningen”, “Schouwburg” & “S’Konings Paleis”) engraved by the Dutch print-maker Johannes Cornelis Zürcher (1794-1882) after designs by the Dutch architect Zeger Reyers (1789-1857) & the Dutch artist Petrus Augustus Beretta (1805-1866). – Vague horizontal & vertical folds (as publ.), but else in good condition (not examined out of frame).
