Handcol. engraved map with cartouche (incorporating 17 coats-of-arms), compass-rose & 19 profile views in upper part. Published by “F. de Widt” (Amsterdam, after 1662). Ca. 44 x 56 cm. Behind passepartout & framed (behind glass).

¶ Koeman III, p. 214. Attractive general map of the Low Countries (decorated with small oval views of i.a. Amsterdam, Antwerp, Arnhem, Deventer, Dordrecht, Ghent, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Luxemburg, Mechelen, Middelburg, Namen, Utrecht & Zutphen) engraved by the Dutch print-maker Pieter van den Keere (Petrus Kaerius, 1571-1646) & published by the Dutch print-maker Frederik de Wit (1630-1706). – Vertical fold in the middle (as publ.). Foxed/ browned, a few small tears in outer blank margins, but nevertheless a very rare map in an acceptable condition (not examined out of frame).
