Vlieger, [ca. 1900], 10 unnumb. text-leaves (incl. title). With 16 col. lithogr. full-p. ills. on 8 leaves (printed recto & verso by “Drukkerij Senefelder, Amsterdam”). 4to, orig. col. lithogr. pictorial wrappers (des. by P. van Geldorp). – And 1 similar by J. Schenkman (“Sint Nikolaas en zijn Knecht”. Amsterdam, G.Th. Bom, ca. 1861. With 10 col. lithographs. With defects & partly incomplete). (3x)

¶ Ad 1: Buijnsters (Lust en Leering) p. 276. Rare edition (only 3 copies in NCC) by the Dutch author & teacher Jan Schenkman (1806-1863). Ex bibliotheca Christiaan Kleiss (1924-2015). – Spine strengthened with cloth (perforated with thread). A few text-leaves sl. torn (restored with tape), outer blank margins of a few text-leaves cut short, occ. sl. foxed/ browned, occ. sl. (finger-)soiled, but nevertheless in an acceptable condition. ¶ Ad 2: Buijnsters (Lust en Leering) p. 276. Cat. The Children’s World of Learning 3777. Rare edition (only 5 copies in NCC). With a duplicate of the col. lithogr. back-cover loosely inserted. Ex bibliotheca Christiaan Kleiss (1924-2015). – Spine strengthened with blue cloth (perforated with thread), both covers with defects (partly restored with tape). A few leaves sl. marg. waterstained/ torn (restored with tape), sl. foxed/ browned (due to off-setting of the lithographs), occ. sl. (finger-)soiled, but nevertheless in an acceptable condition.
