Between 1920-1930's, East Java, Indonesia. A colonial Art-Deco style set of furniture, inspired by the Viennese Wiener Werkstätte bentwood furniture. The table with marble top resting on a circular architrave above four segments with vertical spalts. The chairs with canework seats, the overall of ebonized teakwood. Some pieces have metal tags with: 'Oost Java', and the numbers: S.0039, S.0040, S.0041 and S.0047. One piece with traces of a missing tag.

Charles Eames (1907–1978) and Bernice Alexandra 'Ray' Kaiser Eames (1912–1988)
Designed in: 1961, United States of America. Edited by Herman Miller, this chair got the emblematic base named 'La Fonda'.
In 1948 Eames created the fiberglass shelled DSR (Dining Side Chair) for the Museum of Modern Art contest. The shell of this chair is identical to the shell of the DSR chair.
In 1961 the base was designed by Alexander Girard who built the famous restaurant 'La Fonda del Sol' in New York. He asked his friends Charles and Ray Eames to design all the furniture. The Eames couple decided to harmonize all elements by giving all the furnitures exactly the same height.

Released in: 1956, U.S.A. An Eames lounge chair and ottoman, executed by Vitra, Italy. Made of molded plywood, aluminium and leather, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the Herman Miller furniture company. This piece was executed by Vitra. They are officially titled: Eames Lounge (670) and Ottoman (671).

Designed in: 1952 A Diamond chair, produced by: Knoll. Welded steel rods, and upholstery. Knoll is the only authorized and licensed manufacturer of the Bertoia Collection which has been in continuous production since 1952.
In Bertoia's own words: 'If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them.'
