18th century, Netherlands With an angraved flower border, many of which have a pierced hole except for the few above the flower emblem on the main body of the glass. Allowing the host to safely drink from the marked side and then passing the glass on to an unsuspected guest to drink from the pierced side.

A Dutch engraved goblet with cover
18th century, Netherlands Engraved with a text which translates as "To the succes of Ropewalk the Pike", which was the name of a ropemaking factory that operated in Amsterdam and is mentioned in the city archives to have been active in the late 17th century and most of the 18th century. This glass has a faceted stem and is also faceted on the bowl with gothic style arches. The engraving shows three men winding rope as it comes out of the factory. The other side shows a large pike (fish) in water. The cover is a replacement lid (not the original lid).

Two Dutch Delft pottery plaques, Moses in the Bulrushes
Late 18th or early 19th century, Netherlands A pair of mirrored plaques, decorated in blue and white with manganese marbled effect borders. One scene has the text "Exod 2:5" written, which refers to the Biblical text: "The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the Nile, with her maidens walking alongside the Nile; and she saw the basket among the reeds and sent her maid, and she brought it to her." Illustrating the Old Testament story of Baby Moses. These plaques are not marked but were probably made in Friesland in the early 1800's.

1783 A bronze church bell, cast by Alexius Jr. Petit. The text on the bell reads: "Alexivs Petit me Fecit Ao 1783". This bell hung in the Cellebroederskapel in Maastricht until it was removed during a renovation after WWII. Comes with its clapper and a (modern) frame for suspending from a wall.
